Description
The Mock orange 'Variegatus' (Philadelphus coronarius) is an upright, overhanging shrub that produces white, cupped flowers arranged in clusters with a strong fragrance. They appear from May to June. The Mock orange 'Variegatus' also has matt, lanceolate, dark green leaves with a white margin. Its bark is dark brown, smooth and shiny. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and grows to a width of around 3 metres.
