Philadelphus 'Lemoinei' - Liners bare root

Description
The Mock orange (Philadelphus x lemoinei) is an upright, vigorous small shrub that produces white, cupped flowers with a strong fragrance. They appear from June to July. The Mock orange also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and is approx. 1.5 metres wide.

Leaves
The deciduous leaves of the Mock oranges are medium green, ovate, opposite. They are about 5 - 6 cm in size.

The Mock orange has good frost hardiness.

Growth
Mock orange is an upright and tightly growing small shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1 - 1.5 m and is approx. 0.9 - 1.5 m wide.

Water
The plant has a medium water requirement.

Location
Preferred location in a sunny to semi-shady position.

Soil
Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the ground is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Care
Thinning pruning is recommended, in which only the shoots that are too dense are removed.

Flower
The white, cupped flowers appear from June to July. They grow to about 2 - 3 cm and are strongly scented.
