Description
The Schmalblättrige Klebsame 'Irene Patterson' (Pittosporum tenuifolium) is a dense, ovoid, evergreen small shrub with decorative, glossy, leathery, lanceolate, dark green/white leaves. The creamy white shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears purple-red flowers from May to June. These produce black fruits. They exude a pleasant fragrance. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2.5 metres and grows to around 1 metre wide.
